Do you ever feel like a young person “disguised” as an adult?

Many people do.

Margaret Atwood said,

“Another belief of mine; that everyone else my age is an adult, whereas I am merely in disguise.”

While we automatically get physically more mature, most of us find ourselves periodically drawn into the intense feelings of a younger version of ourselves.

The good news is it doesn’t have to be this way.

When you’re living from your inner adult, you’re able to respond in a powerful, centered way, in tune with your own needs, instead of lashing out or shutting down.

While your inner child – the young parts of yourself – can bring spontaneity, playfulness, imagination, joy and vitality to your life, they can also get triggered without your realizing it.

That’s when you might find yourself…

  • Feeling overwhelmed and confused
  • Saying “I can’t handle…”
  • Wanting to hide or numb
  • Feeling afraid of getting in trouble, being judged or criticized
  • Feeling left out or like you don’t belong
  • Feeling resistant or sabotaging your goals

We’ll be integrating your younger parts and strengthening your inner adult so you have more choice and more control in how you respond to situations in your life. You’ll learn tools for comforting your inner child and shifting into your adult self.

This will be a small group, so grab your spot early.
